Our School > Program Overview

Eldorado Montessori is a private school located on 2.5 acres at the South-East Corner of Eldorado and Teel Parkway in west part of Frisco, one of the fastest growing and vibrant cities in the DFW metropolis.  Eldorado Montessori serves families with children from ages 6 months through 6 years old.

Eldorado Montessori proudly offers:

​

  • Authentic Montessori Curriculum (Academic program) based on Maria Montessori’s philosophy of child development and methodology which is built on scientifically age-appropriate designed materials for all academic and life skill areas in the classroom - Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, Science, Geography, and History.

  • Enrichment Program: Additional experiences are provided within or outside the classroom beyond the Academic Program.  These enrichment subjects within the academic portion of the work day are:

    • Music (by Juilliard Trained Teacher)

    • Fine Arts

    • Study of a second language – Spanish

    • Yoga

    • Science

    • Outdoor Gardening

    • Computers

  • Extracurricular Activities:  Children have many interests to explore outside of school.  With parent’s busy schedules, it is often impossible to rush from work, get dinner ready and get each child off to their scheduled classes outside of school. For those students staying for extended care (3:00pm to 6:30pm) a number of activities will be made available for an additional cost beyond the tuition fees. These programs include:

    • Private Piano Lessons (by Juilliard Trained Teacher)

    • Chess

    • Sports - Amazing Athlete

    • Dance

    • Gymnastics

    • TOTS and More!

  • Before and After-School Program (7:00 to 8:30 AM; 3:00 to 6:30 PM) that provides adult supervision with prepared activities for each developmental level

  • Year-round Montessori

  • Themed Summer program (separate from academic year)

  • AMS/AMI/IMC/MACTE Certified Teachers
